The post above written by the Darwinian Doctor got me thinking about our current financial and lifestyle set up. We are neither the “American Investment banker or the Mexican Fisherman” we are somewhere in between. With that said, we do lean more towards the lifestyle of the “Mexican Fisherman”. We invest and work hard but we have also created a lifestyle with protected time to spend with family and friends. This approach has slowed our timeline to retirement but it has been worth every penny.
